John D. Leonard, M.D.
Dr. John Leonard earned his bachelor
of science degree in 1966 and
his medical degree in 1970 from
the University of Alberta in
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He
completed his internship in
1971 at Royal Alexandra
Hospital, and his surgery
fellowship in 1981 at the
University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics. Dr. Leonard is certified
by the American Board of
Surgery, is a fellow of the
American College of Surgeons
and a fellow of the Royal
College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Leonard's
medical interests
include all facets of vascular
reconstructive surgery, as well
as the non-surgical
management of
atherosclerosis. Dr. Leonard
also has substantial experience
in endoscopic surgery. Dr. Leonard
joined the staff of Longmont Clinic in August
1993.
