Mindy Gehrs, M.D.
Dr. Mindy Gehrs is board certified in both physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she was a nationally ranked swimmer and named the State of Michigan NCAA Woman of the Year in her senior year. She received a BS in microbiology in 1993. She attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and received her MD in 1998. Dr. Gehrs then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Gehrs is an avid bicyclist and still swims. She enjoys treating non-surgical musculoskeletal and spine problems including worker’s compensation injuries. She also treats people after stroke, brain injury, multiple trauma or with other neuromuscular problems. She is trained in electrodiagnosis performing EMG's and NCS's. She also has special training in medical acupuncture. Dr. Gehrs began working at Longmont Clinic in April 2006.

Nirav Shah, M.D.
Dr. Shah attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Il where he received his B.A. He went to medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and received his M.D. in 2005. Dr. Shah went on to complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Washington School of Medicine and then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Shah was a team physician for several high school and college sports teams. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. He joined Longmont Clinic in August 2011.

Peter D. Wood, M.D.
Dr. Peter Wood is a graduate of the
University of California in San
Diego with a B.S. in biochemistry. He continued on
to receive his medical degree
and complete an internship and
residency at the University of
California at San Diego School
of Medicine. He then completed
a fellowship in sports medicine
at Emory University. Prior to
joining Longmont Clinic in
1997, Dr. Wood was Chief of the
Orthopedics Department at the
Woodland Medical Group in
Woodland, California. He is a
fellow of the American Academy
of Orthopedic Surgery and is a
board certified orthopedic surgeon.
