Endocrinologists are doctors who specialize in treating disorders of the endocrine system. This system consists of many glands including: the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, ovaries, testes, adrenal, pituitary and hypothalamus. Aristides Maniatis, M.D.
Dr. Aristides Maniatis is a Colorado native, who
graduated with a B.S. degree from the
University of Colorado, majoring in molecular biology and biochemistry. He
received his M.D. from Harvard Medical
School and did his internship and residency
in pediatrics at Denver Children's Hospital/University of Colorado School of Medicine,
followed by his fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the same institution,
graduating in June 2005. His CV includes
publications on insulin pump therapy,
neuroendocrine complications of brain
tumors and newborn screening for
congenital adrenal hyperplasia and
hypothyroidism. His professional interests
include general, clinical pediatric
endocrinology and diabetes.

David A. Podlecki, M.D.
Dr. David Podlecki received a B.A. at
DePauw University in 1973. He
completed his M.D. at Loyola
University in 1977, his internship at
Michael Reese Hospital in 1979,
and his fellowship at the University of
Colorado Health Sciences
Center. He is board certified in
internal medicine, endocrinology
and metabolism. Dr. Podlecki is
Medical Director of the Diabetes Care Team,
an educational
program recognized by the
American Diabetes Association.
He is co-founder of Living with
Diabetes, an annual education
program sponsored by the
Clinic and the Colorado ADA
affiliate. On staff since 1982, he
is also Medical Director of
Longmont Clinic's Laboratory.
Dr. Podlecki is also very involved with Longmont
Medical Research Network, where he participates in clinical trials for
new drugs that may be helpful in the
treatment of diabetes or osteoporosis.

Irina Robinson, M.D.
Dr. Irina Robinson received her M.D. at Kirov State
Medical Academy in Kirov, Russia, in 1997.
She completed an internal medicine residency at the New York Medical College.
Dr. Robinson then went to the University of
New Mexico in Albuquerque to complete a fellowship in endocrinology. She is board
certified in endocrinology and metabolism.
She is also a member of the American
Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Laura Wolsko, M.D.
Dr. Laura Wolsko received her medical degree at
the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Center in 1996. She completed her
residency there as well, and then went on to
complete fellowships in endocrinolology and neuroendocrinology at Massachusetts
General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
She is board certified in internal medicine
and endocrinology. Dr. Wolsko began
