Eric M. Benson, M.D.
Dr. Eric Benson graduated from Yale
University in 1992 with a B.S. in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. He then attended
Vanderbilt University School of
Medicine in Nashville,
Tennessee, and received his
M.D. in 1996. Dr. Benson
completed his family medicine
residency at the Valley Medical
Center in Renton, Washington.
He is a member of the American
Academy of Family Physicians
and the American Medical
Association. Dr. Benson joined

Dr. David Britt received his B.A. in
molecular biology from the
University of Colorado in 1983,
and his medical degree from the
University of Colorado School of
Medicine in 1988. He
completed his residency at the

in family medicine and is a

Catherine Cavender, M.D.
Dr. Catherine Cavender
graduated from the University of
Vermont in 1991. She went on
to attend medical school at the
University of Maryland School of
Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
She graduated with her M.D. in
1996 and then completed a
residency in family medicine at St.
Anthony’s in Denver. Dr. Cavender maintains
a strong interest in community service
medicine and speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. James Freudenburg received his bachelor of science degree in
1970, his medical degree in
1974, and completed his residency in
1977 at the University of
Nebraska. He was certified with
the American Board of Family
Medicine in 1977 and recertified
in 1989, 1996, 2002 and 2009. Dr.
Freudenburg holds a teaching
appointment as Assistant
Clinical Professor in Family
Medicine at the University of
Colorado Medical Center. He

Richard E. Jacobi, M.D.
Dr. Richard Jacobi received a bachelor
of science in biology at Rutgers
University in 1982 before
earning his medical degree
from the University of
Pennsylvania School of

of Rochester and Highland

Dr. Jerome Landblom received a B.S.
from the University of North
Dakota in 1979 and continued
there to receive his M.D. in 1983.
He completed an internship and
residency at the University of
North Dakota Family Practice
Center/Bismark Hospital in
1986. Dr. Landblom has practiced
family medicine at the
Fargo Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota, and at
Longs Peak Family Practice in

Robert V. Nouhan, M.D.
Dr. Robert Nouhan attended the University of
Montana and received a B.A. in cellular biology in 1992. He then attended medical
school at Michigan State University College of
Human Medicine where he received his M.D.

Swedish Family Medicine in Littleton in 2001.
He worked at Navajo Health Foundations in
Arizona as a family medicine doctor and
then at La Clinica del Valle in Medford,
Oregon, for a short time before joining
North Bend Medical Center in Coos Bay,
Oregon, in 2003. Dr. Nouhan is a board
certified family medicine physician. He
speaks fluent Spanish and has experience
caring for many Spanish-speaking patients.

Dr. Lyle Pfeifer earned a bachelor of science degree at the University

Dr. Nicky Theiss attended the University of
Wisconsin at Stevens Point and graduated
with her B.S. in 1997. She then attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin

2005. Dr. Theiss is board certified in family medicine. She is also a member of the
American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr.
Theiss worked at the Sonoran Medical
