Katherine Atherton-Wood, N.P.

Katherine Atherton-Wood graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, CA, with a B.A. in linguistics in 1994. After working as a case manager in a residential treatment center, she went on to attend the University of Colorado Health Science Center to complete her master of science: family nurse practitioner degree and doctorate of nursing practice in 2002. Katherine is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and also holds certification as a case manager. She has a special interest in partnering with patients to help them reach both short and long-term health goals. Since 2002, she has worked at La Casa Quigg Newton Community Clinic at Denver Health and Jefferson County Department of Health. Katherine joined Longmont Clinic in October 2006.

Peter D. Wood, M.D.

Dr. Peter Wood is a graduate of the University of California in San Diego with a B.S. in biochemistry. He continued on to receive his medical degree and complete an internship and residency at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Emory University. Prior to joining Longmont Clinic in 1997, Dr. Wood was Chief of the Orthopedics Department at the Woodland Medical Group in Woodland, California. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon.
