Dr. David Podlecki is now accepting volunteers for a clinical research study of investigational long-acting insulin for individuals with Type II Diabetes. The purpose of the research study is to see how safe and how well and investigational insulin works to help people with Type II Diabetes.
Criteria to participate:
- Type II diabetes, diagnosed for at least 1 year and treated with at least one insulin injection per day
- Willing to adhere to a schedule of multiple insulin injections per day
- Have an HbA1c value between 7% and 12%
- No other serious or uncontrolled medical conditions
The study provides:
- All study-related exams
- Study medication
- Glucose monitoring equipment and supplies
- Compensation for time and travel
