Dr. David Podlecki is now accepting volunteers for a clinical research study of investigational long-acting insulin for individuals with Type I Diabetes. The purpose of the research study is to compare the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational insulin to approved insulin.
Criteria to participate:
- Type I diabetes, diagnosed and treated with insulin for at least 1 year
- Have an HbA1c value of less than 12%
- No other serious or uncontrolled medical conditions
The study provides:
- All study-related exams
- Study medication
- Glucose monitoring equipment and supplies
- Compensation for time and travel
