If you have IBS with constipation, you may qualify for this research study of an investigational medication. Study participation lasts approximately 23 weeks and requires about 9 visits to the Longmont Clinic.
Criteria to participate:
- Generally healthy
- IBS with constipation (data will be collected regarding frequency, consistency, etc.)
- Less than 3 BMs per week
- Abdominal pain
The study provides:
- All study related or required exams including physicals, colonoscopy if needed, laboratory tests and electrocardiograms
- Study medication
- Compensation for up to $810 for time and travel
