Overactive Bladder

Overactive Bladder (OAB) is a bothersome medical condition that affects more than 17 million men and women of all ages, although its incidence increases significantly with age. OAB symptoms include urinary urgency, frequency, nocturia (getting up at night to go to the bathroom), and urge leaking. This research study of an approved medication lasts approximately 14 weeks and will require about 5 visits to the Longmont Clinic. Principal Investigator: Sean Manion, M.D.

Criteria to  participate:
  • 65 years of age or older
  • Symptoms of OAB for at least 3 months
  • Must be experiencing health and/or lifestyle changes frequently associated with aging
The study provides:
  • All study related or required exams, including physical exams, laboratory tests and an EKG
  • Study drug or placebo (inactive substance)
  • Compensation for time and travel for completed visits
