Pediatric Web

Pediatric Web is a service that we make available to parents of young children. This web site is a helpful tool to learn more about common childhood illnesses and problems. It can instruct you on when you need to call a doctor or schedule a visit. This web site is linked directly to the Children's Hospital web site and provides general information on a variety of topics. Some examples include:

  • General information on injuries — bee stings & spider bites, poison ivy exposure or sunburn
  • Information on symptoms of illness — fever, cough, earaches
  • Information for new moms on breast feeding, umbilical cord care diaper rash and teething
  • Dosing information for Tylenol®, ibuprofen, cough and cold medicines

This service is not meant to be a replacement for your doctor's advice, rather a tool that you can access 24 hours a day to get reliable and accurate information on conditions or injuries that your child may experience.

Anytime your child needs immediate medical attention please call 911, or visit the Emergency Room at Longmont United Hospital or Children's Hospital in Denver.
